Reminds me of why I have always needed to read books

There's never been any God in my life no matter how hard I tried to believe. And because years ago I ate ashes of my cremated dog (with yogurt), people often insist I'm spiritual. But I'm not. Why then did I find your story of life in the Church and the seamless telling of it to be written in my language? I imagine the journey resonated with me, as well as your marvelous gift for storytelling. And what tremendous moral courage, honesty, humor and integrity you have. I am your fan.

"An Unquenchable Thirst" reminds me of why I have always needed to read books. Without them, and without your book, the loneliness of being human is insupportable. Thank you for writing. I hope you continue to do so.
