"A heartfelt, personal story of the gradual awakening of a woman who comes to see that preferring the 'human to the perfect' does not alienate her from authentic spirituality but allows her to live more fully."

I've just done a book similar to yours, A Bumpy Ride, published by Author House, and wanted to know how people in religion and Mother's Order reacted to the book? Were they shocked or did they commend you on the heroic effort to tell your story?

Dear Trophy,

Congratulations on your book!  That's a real achievement.

As far as reactions to the book goes, this is the only "official" reaction I've received: http://www.ucanews.com/2011/09/13/check-controversial-book-an-opportunity-for-introspection/  I think it's actually the best I could hope for.

I've received lots of feedback from other former sisters and priests, and that's all been positive. They were very happy, and sometimes very relieved, that someone had fond the courage to tell this story, a story so familiar for so many people.

All good things for you and your book,

Mary
